Our Story
Growing up in the small town of Lewes, DE, with a family of local water-men, Bryan Stewart's destiny was set before he was born. A love of the ocean and more time than he can remember spent on the water, his roots were set. Working on many boats including his fathers to learning the retail side of things, Bryan has built strong ties within the community. A dream became reality in 2019 when he created the Facebook page called "The Crab Connect" to offer crabs to family and friends. Within a short time the page gained a large local following with many repeat customers. With the impressive local response Bryan saw the need for fresh, reasonably priced, sustainable seafood but specifically blue-crabs. Sourcing from local water-men allows for crabs to go from ocean to your table within hours and help support his fellow water-men. Offering top notch quality at a price that can't be beat is how this small town local turned his dream into a reality. The Crab Connect was established in 2019 and is growing everyday!

With the overwhelming amount of support and new business daily we have big plans for the future! Stop by to pick up your crabs anytime! Place your order here or stop by! Pre-order is not needed but will help to get you in and out!
Don't feel like doing the dishes? As of August 13th we purchased a steam trailer and can now steam your crabs on site! Currently, you can find our steam trailer at our main location in Lewes, Delaware! Can't make it to Lewes...well don't worry we have plans in the near future to expand our service area and will be available for booking for all of your events!
If you are picking up live crabs please bring a cooler or reusable bags. At the Crab Connect we love and respect our oceans and by bringing a cooler or reusable bag you help us to be sustainable and keep our oceans and waterways clean!
At this time we only offer cash as payment but we will soon be offering online ordering and be accepting payments from all major credit and debit cards on site!
